Birth of a Child (2025) - 1/2 Oz - silver gift coin (delivery 30.1.2025)

The coin is minted by The Perth Mint from 1/2 ounce of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality and is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. The 1/2 oz Newborn 2025 silver coin has an unlimited mintage.

The colourful coin features plush baby kangaroos, kookaburras and koalas. The design features eucalyptus leaves and prickly seed pods, as well as the inscription "CONGRATULATIONS!" and the "P" mintmark of The Perth Mint. The reverse of the coin features a commemorative obverse of Queen Elizabeth II, which includes the likeness of Jody Clark in addition to the monetary amount, weight and purity, and the year 2025.

The coin is housed in an elaborate themed gift card with space to write the child's details and space to place a photograph.
