Australian Lunar Snake - 1 Oz - Silver Collector Coin

This COLOR coin was minted from 1 ounce of 99.99% pure silver in regular grade and celebrates the Year of the Serpent, the sixth of the twelve animals of the ancient Chinese lunar calender.
The coin's motif is a bright yellow snake coiled on the ground beneath leaves hanging from bamboo. The design also includes the Chinese character for "snake", the inscription "SNAKE 2025" and the Perth Mint's traditional
"P" mintmark.

The 1 Oz silver coin design also includes a special security feature in the form of a microlaser engraved letter on the reverse of the coin, which is only visible under a magnifying glass. This makes it significantly more difficult to
counterfeit the coins.

The back of the coin shows a portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Dan Thorn, information about the face value "1 DOLLAR", weight and purity "1oz 9999 Ag" and the marking
country of origin "AUSTRALIA".
