The colorful reverse of the coin features a levitating Vecna with eight tentacles coming out of its body. The design includes two demogorgons in the eerie world of the Upside Down, complete with demobats and lightning cutting through the night sky. The design includes the "STRANGER THINGS" logo along with the Perth Mint's "P" mintmark.

The coin has been individually "aged" to give it a unique surface reminiscent of the wear of an ancient artifact. As a result of this treatment, the appearance of individual coins in an issue may vary.
