The Aristocats - (2025) - Silver Colorized Collector's Coin

This collector’s coin commemorates the 55th anniversary of the animated film *The Aristocats*, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, which falls in 2025.

The story takes place in the opulent Parisian mansion of Madame Bonfamille, where the elegant white cat Duchess lives with her three kittens— Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse. Their owner, Madame Bonfamille, a former opera singer, plans to bequeath her fortune to her beloved cats. However, this decision does not please her greedy butler, Edgar, who had hoped to inherit the fortune himself.

Edgar therefore secretly decides to get rid of the cats, taking care not to harm them. Duchess and her kittens thus find themselves far from home. Fortunately, Thomas O’Malley, a smooth-talking, free-spirited stray cat, comes to their rescue and helps them find their way back.

Edgar’s plan ultimately backfires when he is accidentally loaded into a crate bound for Timbuktu. Meanwhile, Madame Bonfamille is happily reunited with her cats and subsequently opens the doors of her mansion to Parisian stray cats as well. Her opulent home is thus transformed into a safe and loving home for all.
