Camouflage of a Nature: 3 Oz Silver Collector Coin

This is a uniquely designed and struck Camouflage of Nature Leopard silver coin (2nd issue of the series) with ultra-high relief. The Leopard is struck from 3 ounces of 99.9% pure silver using a special coinage technique that creates a fascinating optical illusion / 3D effect.

Design:

A fascinating optical illusion technique is used on the reverse of the coin to convey a wrap-around effect made up of spots that resemble a cat fur motif, with the main leopard figure in the center. The obverse of the coin contains an abstract design at the bottom, which changes into an animal pattern at the top, symbolising the camouflage of nature. In the centre of the obverse is the emblem of Palau and the inscriptions "CAMOUFLAGE OF NATURE" - the name of the series, "REPUBLIC OF PALAU" - the country of issue and "20$" - the face value of the coin.
